Meet President & CEO Carla Balakgie

This year’s OneShow opening event includes an exciting opportunity to meet and hear from NAMA’s new President and CEO, Carla Balakgie, FASAE, CAE, in her first industry-wide address. A career association executive, Carla was previously CEO of the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) for more than eight years, and brings a tremendous association background and wealth of knowledge to NAMA. Also, her extensive work in the electronic payments industry promises to bring seasoned yet fresh thinking to the challenges and opportunities we face as an association and an industry.

In her remarks, Carla will share her vision for the reinvigoration and growth of our industry, and report on the success of the new Industry Growth Strategy and our many legislative programs. She will share her thoughts on NAMA’s leadership role in our industry, better serving our members, and encouraging innovation and other advancements to help our industry exploit new opportunities for growth.
